    Stuck on this problem..

    Determine the value of x > 1 such that y = e^{0.0001x} and y = x intersect.

    graph the expression ...

    y = x - e^{0.0001x}

    ... use your calculator to find the zero.

    how do i do that? i graphed it using MathGV and its a straight line that has y int of -1 and x int of 1..

    the x-intercept is is close to 1, but it's not 1.
