Thanks Is this $\displaystyle \log_5\left(x^2y^4\sqrt{m^3p}\right)$? Just use $\displaystyle \log_b\left(x\cdot{y}\cdot{z}\cdots\right)=\log_b( x)+\log_b(y)+\log_b(z)\cdots$ and $\displaystyle \log_b\left(a^x\right)=x\log_b(a)$
Would my final answer be 2 log 5 x + 4 log 5 Y + 3/2 log 5 m + 1/2 log 5 P
