    how do i find both x intercepts of a curve?

    sketch the curve y=x^3-2x^2, showing where it cuts the x axis. How do i find the x intercepts?

    Set the y equal to zero and solve for x.

    x^3-2x^2=0

    x^2(x-2)=0
