In grade 12 right now, and will be entering the Engineering program next year if all goes according to plan. I'm not really sure what would be the better calculator for my needs in that course though, the 89 Titanium, or the NSpire. Its difficult to find a clear answer on the internet, but I'm getting the vibe that the 89 would be a better fit and that the NSpire is more about graphics and interactivity. Could anybody clear this up for me?
use your brain as your calculator :D you don't necessarily have to have an engineering calculator for at least the first 2 years, let alone ANY calculator. Most of the calculus and physics you'll be doing for pre-req's doesnt really require calculator input, only verification from my experience. It's amazing how much calculus you can do in your head once you see how O.o
Personally, The TI-89 titanium. Farther along in the engineering program it works better IMO. good luck~
