    need some help calculating this integral

    the integral of 0 to 1

    x^3-x^2+x+1 divided by (x+1)(x-2) dx

    Use polynomial division to get:
    x+ \frac{3x+1}{x^2-x-2}

    Then perhaps you can use partial fractions.
