    local min and max

    Consider the function f(x)=|x^2+5x|. For this function there are four important intervals (-inf,A],[A,B],[B,C],[C,inf). where A,B,C are critical numbers.Find A,B,C.At each critical number , , and does have a local min, a local max, or neither?

    Draw a graph of y = x^2 + 5x. Then reflect in the x-axis the parts below the x-axis to draw f(x). The graph should make the answers obvious.
