    Question on function "f(x) = 3x

    The function "f(x) = 3x" grows three times faster than the function "g(x) = x". please Explain. true or false.
    I believe the answer is false from what I have done in my text but I dont understand why.

    True: f'(x) = 3, g'(x) = 1.
