    Differentiate the function

    I need help differentiating this function.

    f(x)=xe^(-x^2/8)
    I got this far:

    f'(x)=x(d/dx)e^(-x^2/8)*e^(-x^2/8)(d/dx)x

    you will have

    e^-x^2/8 - (2/8)x^(-6/8)*xe^(-x^2/8)
