Thread: help with Reciprocal of qudratic function

i've been given a question like this :
h(x) = 1 / - (4x^2 - 4x -3 )
So far , i've been asked to first find the roots, the roots/Aysmptopes, where y = 1, where y = -1 , and the y-int.
how do u get the vertex, and how do u know when something is opening up or downwards.

Draw the graph of y = h(x) by considering the graph of y = g(x) = -(4x^2 - 4x - 3) .......

y = h(x) has vertical asymptotes where y = g(x) has x-intercepts.

y = h(x) has a minimum turning point at the value of x where y = g(x) has its maximum turning point

etc.
