Find the third derivative of f(x)= ln(1+2x) is the problem

so by using the rule ln(x) = 1/x im guessing to just rewrite this as (1/1+2x) and then use the quotient rule?

Yes, but don't forget the chain rule as well. ln(2x+1) = 2(2x+1)^-1

forget the quotient rule its ugly, right now change all your fractions into products when taking derivatives,

dont do this for everything in calculus just derivatives, later down the road you need fractions but your professor will show you them when you get there
