    Real analysis - a function with no limit at 1/2

    I need an example of a function with a limit at every point in (0,1) except 1/2 and use the definition of a limit to show this


    I'm pretty sure I can use f(x)=2x when x < 1/2 and f(x)=x^2 when x > 1/2

    Not quite sure how to put this into the definition

    f(x)= \frac{2}{2x-1}
