Hello, How do we integrate $\displaystyle 1/1+(x^4)$ Thank you!

This can be done by partial fractions decompositions. Notice that: $\displaystyle x^4 + 1 = x^4 + 2x^2 + 1 - 2x^2 = (x^2+1)^2 - (\sqrt{2}x)^2$ Which is a difference between two squares. Can you do it now?
That's cool Thank you !
