let x be the number of seats not sold. so in addition to $50 per seat, what would be the price if x seats were not sold?

    b) what is the revenue cost
the number of seats sold is (100 - x), can you tell me why?

revenue is the price times number of units sold.

    c) what is the maximum revenue
find the maximum of the revenue function. do you know how to find the max? are you allowed to use calculus? you don't need to. what kind of function is your revenue function?
