Just plug in 5 for x and it will give you your limit
so the answer is -18?

heres the second question. i did the same thing but you cannot divide by zero, so what's the answer here? lim ((x^4)-16)/(x-2) x->2
Hint: Factor the numerator as much as possible. Factor the red by the difference of squares and see what cancels Then try to evaluate
