    What is an inflection point.

    Hello, anyone can tell me what is an inflection point on a graph please?..

    Is it the point where a line intercept a curve ?

    no, it is where the concavity of a curve changes. like x^3 at x = 0. for x < 0, the curve is concave down, at 0 it switches and for x > 0 it is concave up. the vicinity of inflection points look like how he x^3 graph (or -x^3) look in the vicinity of x = 0
