Can anybody give me a hand answering this little problem?

It's a pretty straight forward (for somebody who is good with integration - unfortunately i'm not).

I have uploaded a screenshot of my problem to the following webpage:

    So it is
    \pi \int_1^2 [f(x)]^2 dx
    Thus,
    \pi \int_1^2 (2e^{2x}+1)^2dx
    Thus,
    \pi \int_1^2 4e^{4x}+4e^{2x}+1dx
    Thus,
    \pi \left( e^{4x}+2e^{2x}+x \right) \big|^2_1Thus,
    \pi(e^8+2e^4+2-e^4-2e^2-1)=\pi(e^8+e^4-2e^2+1)

So the final answer is a formula? Not a whole number?
