AP Calculus Practice Exam

Every year, I write a practice exam for my former high school AP Calculus teacher. I'm currently in the process of writing a practice exam for AB and BC Calculus.

I would like to share these practice exams with those on MHF who plan on taking either AP Calculus AB or BC this school year.

For now, I'm going to post the one I made last year [in preparation for the 2008 exam]. I will also include worked out solutions to the multiple choice sections. The free response solutions [brief solutions] to this practice exam can be found here [its the 2007 F.R. Qs]. I'm just informing you, but I noticed this practice exam was harder than the exam given out at the end of the school year.

I will add the new 2009 exams for AB and BC Calc [and solutions] to this thread when I have completed them [hopefully by mid September].

I hope things like this will prepare one properly for the AP exam at the end of the school year :D

Nice exam (Clapping).. It has almost anything in AP Calculus (i suppose). But I couldn't see any optimization question. Aren't they taught in AP?

Yes, they are taught in AP.

I thought I had one on this exam...maybe not. I remember I had one on the exam I wrote prior to this one...(Thinking)

Now I'll know to throw at least 1 or 2 on the ones I'm writing now.
