How do you find a general solution to a third order euler cauchy equation?
I am at 0=(X^a)(x-1)^3, but I am stuck.
Thanks, Ben
You start off by assuming a trial solution of the form $\displaystyle y = x^m$.
Post the equation your working on because there are several different cases depending on the values of m that you get ......
