    Angry Derivatives

I need MAJOR HELP with derivatives. My book doesn't explain how to work through the problems. An example problem follows. If someone could try to teach me the basics of derivatives I would greatly appreciate it.

    h(x) = 2x^2 - 3x + 1
    -------------
    x
