Can someone please show me how to find the HWHM of (3/4)(1-X^2), x between -1 and 1. This is a side exercise for my class and I'm a little lost.

Do this in steps:

1. What is the maximum value of the function?

2. What is half of that value? (Call it .)

3. Solve for x.

4. Your answer is the difference between the two solutions of #3.
