1. ## Derivative

Dear forum members,

I have a following function I need to find the derivative of

$\frac{3}{vsinx}+2v-\frac{3}{3vtanx}$

the v stands for velocity. So does this constant v disappear when I derivate or do I derivate it like a "normal" x-variable?

If v is indeed a constant in regard to x, then ...

Remember that the derivative of $a*f(x)$, where a is a constant is $a*f'(x)$

It's like factorising (not eliminating) a and calculating the isolated function of x.
