I need help solving these problem. All help will be greatly appreciated.

    1. Write a function statement indicating the Volume (V) of a sphere depends upon its radius (x)

    2. Write a function statement indicating the Surface Area (S) of a sphere depends upon its radius (x)

    You mean like this

    V(x)=\frac{4}{3}\pi{x^3}?

I don't if this is really for a calculus class.. but do you know that the volume of a Sphere is given by V = \frac{4}{3} \, \pi r^3 and therefore you can repalace r with x?

Ok, for the next one, i will write it on a calculus way..
    The surface area is given by S = \frac{dV}{dx} = 4 \pi x^2

    Is this what you want?
