Laplace Transformation
I was attempting the following question,

$f(t) ={k ( 1 - \frac{t}{c}) , 0 <= t < c}$ and ${ 0 , t >= c}$

The problem I am having is that I can't understand why are the ranges given ? This is the first question of its type and I am totally confused that where should I start because the questions I attempted before were simple like $e^{3t + 4}$ and I had to just transform them. When I use that same simple transformation technique on the above question the answer comes incorrect.
