how do you integrate the LHS is this actually impossible

    integral of v/(g-2v)dv= integral of 1dv g=9.8

this is part of big question would be great help!

    Of course not.

But first you need to apply your algebraic skills to re-write the integrand as

    \frac{v}{g - 2v} = - \frac{1}{2} + \frac{g}{2g - 4v} = \frac{1}{2} \left( -1 + \frac{g}{g - 2v}\right).

Then you need to recall how to integrate \frac{g}{g - 2v}.
