The area of the sector is given by:

A = (pi*rē) x (θ/360)

r is the radius

θ is the angle of the sector you are trying to find the area of (in your case, it would be 90 degrees)

A = (pi*9) x (90/360)

A = (pi*9) x (1/4)

A = 9pi / 4
