# Frustum of Sphere

Frustum of Sphere
pls help me out of this problem....what should be the answer of this following Question:

A frustum of sphere is made by cutting two parallel planes of any sphere. if the radius of sphere is 5 cm & distance between the plane is 1 cm, then what will be the curved surface of frustum when the distance of first plane from centre of the sphere is 2 cm

here pie = greek aplhabet pie...3.14

(a) 5pie cm^2 (b) 10pie cm^2 (c) 15pie cm^2 (d) 40pie cm^2

pls help me for this problem..if possible...thanks in advance...

Well, I could tell you the answer, but perhaps you should indicate what
you have done or what the problem you have with this?

Also you could try estimating the area
