    Sequences

    Hey, I need help with the following problem:

    Determine whether the sequence converges or diverges. If it converges, find the limit.

    an=tan[(2npi)/(1+8n)]

    Thanks!

    Note (2\pi n)/(8n+1)\to \pi/4. Since \tan is continous, by definition, \tan (2\pi n/(8n+1))\to \tan \pi/4= 1.
