1. ## could really use help with Intergration

Can someone please walk me through the rest of this intergration question, ive started it off, but do not know hoe to proceed.

the curve of a hill is y = 18x^2 - 12x -4x^3 + 110

Ive completed the table as follows, and tried to put all the info in a bitmap, ignore the sketch part, any help would be awsome guys.

First things first, your table is wrong.

$18\times1^2-12\times1-4\times1^3+110=18-12-4+110=112$

$18x^2=18\times x \times x$ it is not $18x \times 18x$

Have you heard of BIDMAS ?

Next the integration

$\int ax^n dx=\frac{ax^{n+1}}{n+1}$ (EDIT .....) + C

If you're being asked to do this work I'd hope that this, together with some examples, is in your notes somewhere.
