# Math Help - Question on Series.

So, I know how to do most series,but I just got handed this on an assignment, and can't for the life of me solve it. Any help is appreciated.

It's an infinite series, from n=1 to n=infinity.

And the equation is (2^n + 3^n)/5^n

What's the sum?

I'm pretty sure it's... 13/6, just from doing it in Maple, but I can't get that on paper.

$\sum_{n=1}^{\infty} \frac{2^n+3^n}{5^n} = \sum_{n=1}^{\infty} (2/5)^n + (3/5)^n$.
Use geometric series.
