    integrals

    is this integrals correct?

    1/y+t^2 (dt) = arctan t

    what is the correct integral of 1 + y^2?

    thanks!

    \int \frac{1}{1 + t^2}~dt = atn(t)

    \int \frac{1}{y + t^2}~dt = \frac{atn(t\sqrt{y})}{\sqrt{y}}

    \int \frac{1}{y} + t^2 dt = \frac{t}{y} + \frac{t^3}{3} + C

    \int 1 + y^2 dy = y + \frac{y^3}{3} + C

    I believe Dan answered what you wanted, but I listed these just in case.

    Nevertheless, do not forget adding a constant in for indefinite integrals! + C!
