    residues of gamma functions

    Hi members,
I have a problem with the calculation of the residues of gamma function.
(see attached pdf file)I know the residue of the gamma function is gamma(z)=(-1)^n/n!.
Can you help me with the first residue(withi n the arrows)or give me a hint or a link.

    Thank you

    Re: residues of gamma functions

Could you please post the previous page? They explain how to evaluate the residues by referring to the "former integrand" and the "latter integrand", and I don't know what these are.

    Thanks,
    hollywood
