1. ## Precalculus Homework Help Task

Hi, help me please to solve the task. Jan is 6 feet tall. She spots a giant diamond at the base of thiscanyon, on the opposite side. She wants to know how deep it is. Theangle of depression from her line of sight is ?. The distance tothe other side of the canyon is 18 feet. How far down is the diamond? Round to the nearest hundredth.

If you knew either the "angle of depression" or the "depth of the diamond" you could calculate the other. Given only the width of the canyon, you cannot calculate either.
