I am having trouble with this problem:
In a healthy person of height h inches, the average pulse rate (beats per minute) is modelled by the function
P (h)=596/sqrt (h)
1) compute the sensitivity of P at h=60
2) based on 1), estimate the change in pulse rate corresponding to a height change from 59 to 60 inches.
3) computer the elasticity of P. Does it depend on h?
4) use 3) to determine how accurate a measurement of h needs to be in order to ensure the estimate for P is within +or- 10%.
