    evaluating limit

    I'm having real trouble trying to work out:

    lim as n --> infinty n(a^{1/n} - 1), where a > 0.

    I tried using l'hopitals rule since its an indeterminate form 0/0, which gave a^{1/n} log a which tends to infinity...is this the correct way of doing it?

    Thanks in advance!
