    if f,g are continuous everywhere with f(2) = 1
    and lim(x→2) (f(x)+4g(x)) =17

    Since f,g are continuous everywhere, lim(x→2) (f(x)+4g(x)) = f(2) + 4g(2) = ......

    But lim(x→2) (f(x)+4g(x)) = 17.

    Therefore ......
