Geometric Series :confused:
:confused: I have to find the nth term of this geometric series, i know the formula but im not sure if i need to simplify my answer.
Formula = tn = ar^(n-1)
a) 4,8,16,32 - this I can simplify and get 2^2 * 2^(n-1) which is 2^(n-1)
b) 6,24,96 - can you simplify this after you get 6 * 4^(n-1)?
c) 128,64,32, - same as above
d) 3,3root3, 9, 9root3... - SAA
e) 8,-4,2,-1 ... SAA
:confused: :confused: :confused:
Still dont understand how you come to answers?!
