    finding equation of normal line

    Masters, can you help me solve this problem..

    1. Find an equation of each normal line to the curve y=x^3-3x that is parallel to the line 2x+18y-9=0.

    2. Prove that there is no line through the point (1,2) that is tangent to the curve y=4x^2.

    1. What is the slope of the tangent line to y= x^3- 3 at any x= x_0? What is the slope of the normal line at x= x_0?
    What is the slope of 2x+ 18y- 9= 0? For what values of x_0 are the slope of the normal line and the slope of 2x+ 18y- 9= 0 the same?

    2. What is the slope of y= 4x^2 at any x= x_0? What is the equation of a line through (1, 2) having that slope? Does that line contain the point (x_0, 4x_0^2)?
