    Partial Differential Equation

    How do I solve the following?

    du/ds + u = (1+r^2)*e^(2*s)

    Since none of the derivatives involve r you can solve this as an ordinary differential equation, leaving r as a constant. However, you should note that any arbitrary constant that comes out of the solution is, in general, a function of r, not a constant.
