    Confusing Problem

A machine sends a message consisting of a list of five characters, either 0 and 1. The message is sent five times. One time it is sent correctly; one time it is sent with exactly one error; one time it is sent with exactly two errors; one time it is sent with exactly three errors; one time it is sent with exactly four error. Here is a list of the five transmissions. Which one is the correct message?

    a) 00001 b) 01100 c) 00100 d) 10010 e) 10011

    Re: Confusing Problem

Again romsek is right, but again I'll give you a small hint. If (a) were the correct message, how many errors would (b), (c), (d), and (e) have?
