    Trapezoid Rule?

    I have this question:Trapezoid Rule?-capture6.jpgand I'm having trouble figuring it out because the points are confusing me. I ended up with an area of 26 but I'm not sure if that's right. Can anyone help with this? Thanks!

    In the first two seconds, he travels at an average of 3.5 m/sec for 2 seconds, so 7m. You can do the other two intervals.

    Re: Trapezoid Rule?

    apply composite trapezoidal rule here your h=2 so
    d=(h/2)(v(0)+2(v(2))+2(v(4))+v(6))=40
