1. Slope field?

Can anyone help me figure out the slope field of dy/dx= x(cubed root(y))? I just can't figure it out.

You do know what a "slope field" is, don't you? Pick some values of x and y, calculate $\displaystyle x\sqrt[3]{y}$ for each of those x, y, draw a short line segment centered at (x,y) and with that slope.

This problem is not difficult - just tedious. Start asking yourself questions like, "Where is the slope zero?", "Where is it positive/negative?", etc.

For example, the slope is 1 on the curve $\displaystyle 1=x\sqrt[3]{y}$ or $\displaystyle y=\frac{1}{x^3}$.

Just keep it up until you have what you think is enough slopes to make a slope field.
