Need Help!!
I'm actually working on a math project and I can't solve this equation. I know it gives 0, but I can't show why.(Headbang)(Headbang)
Attachment 30409 add means SUM x=0 .. y
I have to do the (lim y>inf) of this function!
Thank You(Headbang)(Headbang)
EDIT: also, the SUMx=0..y equals 2^y

Re: Need Help!!
you lost me with the edit.
do you mean this?
$z=\dfrac{\left(\begin{array}{c}y \\ \frac{x+y}{2}\end{array}\right)}{\displaystyle{ \sum_{x=0}^y} \left(\begin{array}{c}y \\ x\end{array}\right)}$
and you want to show $z=0$ ? It's pretty clearly not 0 as all those terms are positive.
