Can anyone explain these two problems to me? Edit: So I figured out how to do number 4, you just differentiate the second equation to show that it is equal to the first. So I'm good on number 4.

Well if the sum is a Riemann Sum, it is the same as a particular definite integral. What function do you think is being integrated?
so we're integrating sin(x) from 0 to pi/2? Is that what it means by evaluating the limit? so -cos(pi/2) - -cos (0)?
