    Missing a minus

    differentiate 2*cos^3(3x-4) - Wolfram|Alpha

    Why isn't this a -18?

    dy/dx of cos(3x-4) is -3(sin(3x-4)) ??

    Re: Missing a minus

    Because \sin(4-3x)=-\sin(3x-4).
