cone and the plane intersection

the curve is the intersection of the cone t z=√(x²+y²) and the plane 3z=y+4.

How do i find the intersection.I know its sounds like a stupid question .

do i put x,y,z in terms of cylindrical coordinates or spherical?????

so far I am getting some value in terms of r.

You already have z in terms of x and y, substitute it into the second equation to give the relation that is your intersection...
