    integration reminder

    what is these 2 integrated

    a) 1/2x^2

    b) (1/x^2) - (x^2)


    is it

    a) -1/2x + c

    b) -1/x - x^3 /3

    The second one is right. (Though don't forget that constant!) If the first one is supposed to be \frac{1}{2x^2}, then it is also correct (if your answer is -\frac{1}{2x} + c.)

    Please use parenthesis!
