    Multivariable calculus textbook

    Hi,

At my university we are currently using the Stewarts Early transcendentals textbook (7th) ed. We're now moving on to topics such as gradient vectors, double and triple integrals and I'm finding the textbook hard to follow, it seems to be riddled entirely with mathematical jargon.

Could any of you recommend an alternative textbook which maybe easier to follow or more user friendly that you liked?
    Thanks

    Hey 99.95

One book for getting an intuitive feel for multivariable and vector calculus is that of "Div Grad Curl and all That":

Div, Grad, Curl, and All That: An Informal Text on Vector Calculus (Fourth Edition): H. M. Schey: 9780393925166: Amazon.com: Books
