find tension in each rope - Vectors
Question: an object weighing 500N is suspended from 2 ropes that are attached to the ceiling 1.5m apart. the other end of the rope is attached to a point on the top of the object. the ropes are 1.0 m and 1.3m in length. Calculate the tension in each rope.

How do i do this? Please help. I have a test tmrw on this and i am very confused. Thanks.

Start with finding the angles in the triangle formed by the ropes and ceiling, using the cosine law and/or sine law. Can you do this part?
