A dynamics question
Attachment 28139Attachment 28140
After attempting this question with the worked solution I am still very confused. I am not sure where the constants for part A have come from or how they have simplified it. I feel like the solution after part A seems to miss a lot of steps and I can't really make head nor tail of this question.
I would really appreciate it if someone could explain how to answer this question to me.
Re: A dynamics question
The constants \Omega and \lambda are defined to make the equation look like the one in the question. Is that what you were asking?
After that, yes, they seem to skip straight to the solution. Have you tried to fill in the missing solution process? I believe you have to solve the homogeneous equation first.
You should be aware that there's a Differential Equations forum here - you might get a better response to your question there.
