    Just looking for centroid equation

Looking for the equation to determine the Y coordinate of centroid of a solid of revolution about the x-axis. Thanks

    Hey togo.

You should start off by stating the equation for the centroid given a solid and a density function. If you can assume the density is constant then you can pull that term out of the integral as a constant.

Have I missed something here? Your solid is revolved about the x-axis, so the centroid is on the x-axis, which means the y coordinate is zero, right?
